If she can get up onto something she'll still be able to get out, or if she is light enough will just be able to fly right over. I clip my Muscovies wing, why don't you do it? there is step by step instructions online.

One of our Muscovy drakes is like Cheese, he loves attention. many times I have had to pick him up to get him out of the way. He will bite at my pant leg to for treats. Just push him to the side is all I can think of.I brought home goldfish for my babies to play with and munch on... They have no interest in the goldfish, they only want to drown (mate) poor Bean in the 3 inch deep bird bath... Good thing my mom lost interest in the wild birds LOL or she would be upset. They do make a good sprinkler system though.. About 10 ft around the birdbath is soaked, conveniently, this is where our flower garden isSidenote: Apollo and Cheese both mate all three girls and they don't fight over them. Praying they stay this sweet until I can get a separate area set up![]()

Poor Cheese, he went to go take a bath and ended up doing a full somersault in the water because he misjudged the depth. I thought it was hilarious but he was very ashamed of himself and went to hide behind his sister. (I checked him over and he didn't hurt himself.. just his pride). He has taken to following me everywhere.. I wouldn't mind but he runs in between my legs and around my feet so I have to be extra careful not to accidentally kick him.Has anyone else's ducks or drakes done this? If so, what (if anything) did you do about it? I pick him up and carry him around and he calms right down but I can't always pick him up if I'm in the middle of something...![]()
I have, on numerous occasions, bent down to pick up something and all of a sudden, he is there nibbling on my back pants pocket for some food. Scared me half to death the first few times. After that, I learned to watch for him and I will grab him up before he can get to me.One of our Muscovy drakes is like Cheese, he loves attention. many times I have had to pick him up to get him out of the way.
