Muscovy keepers share your pics!

This is how our babies were the first week we brought them home

And this is how they look today, 4 months old approximately

Today the duck took her first flight, she flew about 15 meters to follow me holding her friend in my arms. I should soon do that feather clipping we were talking about. You can also see if you look closer that the drake's flight feathers are still coming in.

Good pics to help illustrate the difference between ducks and drakes!
Luvn them scovies!

I only have one scovy, the white one is Christina my pekin duck, or at least that's what I think it is, 'cause apparently my muscovy Henrietta is teaching her to be
a rooster duck. ............ and yea, i had to cut Henrietta's wing 'cause she was starting to fly, i was scared to do it but miss lydia put reason into my brain.

here is the roosting lesson:

I also clipped my female muscovy's flight feathers yesterday as she was flying better and better everyday and I was scared of losing her. Or her getting killed if she left the property.

EdenCamp you've got some lovely ducks there, BUT PLEASE when you upload your pictures click on the LARGE size of image to be upload because we old people can't see very well!
