Muscovy nesting habbits

My muscovy laid her first egg this morning in a cardboard box on my back yard. If I move the box to the barn that she sleeps in, do you think she will continue to lay there or find a totally different place?

Ducks seem to lay wherever they want, lol..

She might continue to lay, she might find a whole new spot to lay eggs.

I use cat litter boxes in my coop as nesting boxes and I've never had a duck lay an egg anywhere except in the boxes, I have muscovy too I think the "ducks lay wherever they want" is more true with mallard-derived ducks.

My Muscovy like privacy so they will lay in places in the coop I have set up for them. I have one that like to get up in the chicken nest box I use kitty litter boxes too an a few other types of nest boxes. Cubby for nesting. View attachment 2588184View attachment 2588184
