good stuff, both parents must carry the chocolate gene, always fun when you can get multiple colour ducklings

She hatched 5 black, 4 blue, and 4 chocolate. I'm assuming they are chocolate. Some are buff colored.

the mum in the pic is black. so if you got blue ducklings the dad must be blue.

My Daffy laid her first egg yesterday, and I saw how many your duck wold of had to lay, I'm surprised.

How old was your duckety when she was mated?

Because I plan on buying a drake in December, Daffy will be 11 months old then.


p.s. the ducklings look soooo cute. They look like they have little spots on them.

The father is blue indeed. The mother's parents were chocolate pied.
