I know Muscovy are different from other ducks do they need a perch & a net box in the shed

Mine like to roost with the chickens my females especially they have 2X4 as their roost to protect their feet from frost bite.

Some of mine like to lay their eggs in the chickens nest box but mostly lay in their shavings. I do give them some scrap boards set up like lil cubbies for privacy.

My muscovy love to roost. They always have. Here is a photo of a live wood roosting pole just above my nesting boxes.

Thank you!! Love these girls. I can't get enough of them. We made sure to put in a shelf above the nesting box to "catch" anything that might accidentally fall.
