Man, my drakes are scary when they fight. All you see is birds flying and running to get out of their way. When I see that, then I start running with them. IT's CRAZY!!!

It is something alright! the power/strength well unless you've been around them people wouldn't understand. I think the worst was when the ducks would get into with the young drakes, i mean your all freaked out don't injure the duck! not that they don't/didn't hold their own but still....

Funny story with these two dingbats fighting, my oldest was out there bringing in the chickens... she saw the fight went over to break it up, er.. yeah, kid take the egg out of your pocket first! you guessed it, that broke and no sooner was she in the house than the two were at it again...

I go and break it up, I usually snatch one up and carry him away, I have been known to be covered in mud when through though, always seems they like to get into it where it's muddy.

We usually do too, but i had enough and just said don't kill each other.. neither did... and yes, i have had the mud bath myself i came in one day head to toe covered, i thought my mother was going to bust a gut as it was dripping off my face lol

Well speaking of drakes, I'll speak about them ducks, last night one of my ducks was picking on her sister when they went in to bed, making her quite miserable. So I thought okay you meany I'll give you solitary confinement by your self and see how you like that, trying to pick that girl up was one big struggle, she got me good on the back of my hand with her claws didn't break the skin but made a blood blister. But I won and she spent the night alone. I doubt it made any difference she has been in solitary for at least 3 nights this week . I may just move her there permanently.

Ouch! yeah, i had a bunch of girls going it this month too... in the barn at close in time and then in the field?! it's finally stopped must be establishing new pecking orders with the flock change? I hate when girls fight, not that i don't care about the boys but those girls... well you all know how hard it is to get them here
