Mushroom foragers

Pics
This one showed up this summer where my log pile was delivered this year. There's a bunch of them, they were never here before but are growing now all over the front yard because I cut the logs where they were delivered peeling them off the pile and probably spread spoors n sawdust everywhere (even though I did clean up my dust each day cause I use it for other things). I'm working on figuring out this shroom now but it's funky. The underside was yellow venous the cap smooth and brown, the broken cap turned blue at the break but a sliced piece did not? Some of them have grown quite large 8-10 inches caps but very low to the ground, a cm or less.

can you eat it?

Looks like the thread is slowly closing for the fall.

I made a last ditch effort to find shrooms today. I walked through a reliable area, nothing.

I had hoped to find a late season Hen, chicken or lobster. NADA.

The good thing is it was a great day for a walk. I did not even find an old dead hen. I guess I will have to hunt in spirit through those of you that do not live here above the artic circle.

Unless I get south I am done for 9 months as the snow flies.

I did fid these, no idea what they are they were in a line on the ground. Not sure if they grew out of the ground or a root close to the surface.
