Mushroom foragers

Pics
By the bye I i did eventually identify these as Ash Boletes. Not yummy by most accounts, prolific to say the least lol bur not good eating./

I picked some this fall I identified as Larch Boletes. They are edible also, but after doing the spore tests and watching the slimy things deteriorate into a stinky oily mess, I decided they were not for me. I might pick them for my In-laws though...

Lol. The snow shrooms? Idk that variety...

They are tough to find. They occur in below zero temps, grow on snow and can only be seen after consuming schnapps, bandy or other cold weather beverage. Some of them actually grow near fish houses. ( Let's see you southerner or westerners figure out what a fish house is)....

Hey guess what I found, my first mushrooms now tell me if you can what are they?

The smudge on the middle one is where I ran my finger over the top

I couldn't get any higher but if they look good to you all then I will try to get higher and get them or do I need to cut them and get a good pic for ya?

Hard to tell . Do they have gills and what species tree are they on . Coluld oyster or Ulmus .

I cut one down and it was like cutting cardboard and it feels really dried out, if it is safe to eat do you recommend eating it in the condition it's in?
You

You could soak it in water to rehydrate . Will not be as good as fresh . Probably the Ulmus .
