Mushroom foragers

Pics
I try to avoid buggy shrooms. I worry it might prematurely age the shroom.

BTW that is one huge puffball. Was it all white and marshmellow like inside?
I didn't dare eat it. Had another one start six foot from it about half that size, same thing covered with slugs. I put a thick layer of wood ashes around it that killed a bunch in their attempt to get to it, a few still did. Left them for 'seed' maybe I'll have more next yr. It's in a area I don't mow often, and shaded by a big tree so doesn't grow grass/weeds much, might get more?

The kids told me they had a 'little red poisonous weenie mushroom' growing by their swing set. Lol.

Never saw a young stinkhorn, have seen some of the big white stalked with stinky fly covered black heads.

Last year was great for finding Shaggy Mane mushrooms. This year I only found one huge Shaggy Mane and it was too far along to harvest. I suppose that the sweet clover being 6' tall did not help me in finding the mushrooms.

Within the last few days I started finding lots of Alcohol Inky Caps but still no Shaggy Manes until yesterday evening while looking for Guinea eggs. I got a huge double handful of them. They were so buried in the thick grass that I only spotted a couple and kept uncovering more as I picked them.

I coated them in a batter of flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, egg and milk and fried them in butter. They were heavenly!!

Need help with these ones. I just watched an info video on you tube this morning. I think I have the honey mushroom.

*honey colored hairy top
*white cottony veil remnant
*growing in clumps
*slight yellowing at bottom of stem
*white spore print (waiting on this)
