Mushroom Hunters?

Ive never hunted the Moral mushroom... But about a month ago we went out and got hedgehog, yellow feet, and black chantrells.. Spelled wrong I know.. Ill edit spelling later..

We went out last weekend - got skunked. I'm hoping our weird weather hasn't messed them up this year. We had temps in the 90s for a few days, and then down in the 50s for the past several. But we just got a few days of rain and it's supposed to warm up, so we'll try again in a couple of days.....

Last year we found the Mother Load of chicken mushrooms - right on the edge of the front yard on a dead tree. We probably got 10 pounds.

Chicken mushrooms!!!! I posted another thread on "Mushroom ID"!!!

How do you prepare these? I found a huge cluster and have never cooked them before.

The oak leaves are coming out now, finally, and it quit raining for a day or two, so I am hoping DH will cooperate with watching the kids so I can go look!!!!!

Are all tree groing mushrooms edible? I never went mushroom hunting so I need to know. I also found some smaller mushrooms. Will get a pic tomorrow
