I boiled eggs from the last 2 days. Went to peel and the whites are all mushy/mealy. The yolk is hard. They were boiled 13 minutes so I know they're done. Eggs just say on my 72 degree house counter.
Totally puzzling,, Never encountered such. I do boil my eggs so the yolks are soft,,, but my egg whites are ALWAYS FIRM.
Boil some more fresh ones, and see if same occurs
10 minutes is more than long enough to get hard boiled eggs. I do 3 minutes for my soft yolk eggs. Sometimes I use my old skool timer.
