Hey, I would love 2 get some silkies but I can't find any private sellers so I guess I have 2 order them. so I have never done this B4 and have no idea what 2 order from. I looked at ideal and saw the order blank. What is the diference Btween straight run, pullets or males???

I thought that pullets ment that they were close 2 laying AGE? OH I was wanting silkies and what is the lowest number of chicks I can get? and a story and your fav hatchery would B great!

straight run is ,, ya get both male and female, whatever they grab.
pullets ,, is your girls
and ideal is my favorite hatchery,, i buy hundreds from them, and have always been satisfied,, but of course i expect a mistake here and there,, they do ALOT of orders each shipping day,, that equels to THOUSANDS of chicks,,, and i know i make mistakes,, even if im getting paid

EDIT: where are you located?,, and when do you plan to order?

remember,,, its cold,, cold,,,they wont ship less then 25 birds,,, I THINK,, if you order less, they usually throw in some extra roos for warmth. i wouldnt order under 50 if it was me,, the more chicks,, the more warmth.
and ordering this time of year with the holidays,, the further away from them you are, the more chances of the PO messin up.
