Must haves in the garden for chickens, ducks, & geese

I'm curious, does anybody plant certain crops in the garden specifically for their birds? If so, what are some of your favorites?

As far as greens, mine love kale, lettuce, turnips & radish. I don't give them radish any more. I could taste it in the eggs. Mine do NOT like spinach.

I just toss any leftover garden stuff in their run. What they don't eat, gets trampled/shredded into compost.

My chickens love collards, kale, lettuce so I plant lots of that for us to share. I make sure to plant some of it next to the fence so they can pick on it through the fence as it grows. When it bolts, I pull the whole plant up for them. They also love the leaves from the broccoli plants. Of course I also share the squash and tomatoes as well, but I don’t plant those specifically for them.

I plant alpine strawberries specifically for the chickens, they make for a decent ground cover and the chickens (and dogs) really love the little bite size berries.

If they get enough sun those tiny alpine strawberries are delicious!

Summer and winter squash Summer squash are so prolific they take up very little room and you won't have to compost the excess .
Winter squash can be stored for months and provide a treat long after the garden has been put to bed.

I plant extra tomatoes .. cherry tomatoes and throw handfuls in so everyone gets some
