He looks like a game breed.

Hmmm...interesting...I hadn't even considered that. I wad thinking maybe Brown Leghorn...and this was his "sister" another Welsummer Pullet haha....looking at the pictures of game birds, he kind of looks like they might both be! Perhaps TSC got the Wellsummer pullets and mixed Game birds bins mixed up?

They are gorgeous. I'd love to have chickens !like that. I find most chickens lovely but mixes are the most interesting. Thanks for sharing.

This is May Day. She came from a blue hatching egg, so I assume she's EE or OE. Those bright yellow legs make me think she'll lay an olive or brown egg. But she's by far my favorite new mutt. I love her cheek muffs, and she's so brave!

EE's are beautiful. I never consider them a mixed breed.

I have many ee. My ee flock consists of purebred Ameraucana roosters and a wide variety of breeds for the hens. All their offspring are ee and the hens will lay blue/green eggs. This is how hatchery ee are grown.
