Rebecca--I do like the 40D. If I had to do it all over again thought I would have gone with Nikon because some of the Canons have a crop factor. I own both the 30D and 40D. I used to have a darkroom as well. Loved it. Love the digital though. Makes my life easier when doing magazine or newspaper work, or just creative stuff.

i have 2 3-week-old pekin bantam chicks, and one of mine looks exactly like yours. at least i was told they were pekin bantams. i'm talking the same stripe away from the eye, the same grey/black stripes down the head and back. now my chick is looking like it's a frizzle too. sorry if i'm getting any of this wrong, i'm a newbie at all of this. i'll try to post some pics here, although i don't have any of the newborn photos which show the tripe well, handy. here goes -

Beautiful! I love your little buff looking one too.

Mine is feathering a bit faster than yours. It's just over 2 weeks now and it has got a lot of back feathers.
