My mother-in-law hatched 10 eggs and 7 turned out to be cockerels.
She brought one strange looking one over to eventually join our 15 pullets. He’s only a few weeks older than our flock. Currently in quarantine. He has iridescent green/blue/purple feathers like an australorp (which she doesn’t have
) and who knows what else?? I know she has some lavender Orpingtons- he looks like he has Orpington shaped tail feathers and a crooked comb.
Anyway- Will his little butt fluff feather out? Or will he be a strange fluffy butt mutt forever?? So far he’s been very gentlemanly toward the girls through the fence and with me- hopefully he will stay that way!!!!!!

I think we are going to go with twitch though. He’s very twitchy!
