I've been checking that, so far it has not got the box very hot, only a lil warm. and the temp problems I was having I figured was because I had to much tin foil, I fixed that and now it stays good between 99-102 sometimes goes close to 103 but thats mainly during the afternoon for a few hours, im not worried about that.

and I know all about the styrofoam coolers. This is just something I wanted to try, I guess you could say it was out of boredom, I know the chances are slim on them hatching and all

If it works it works. if it doesnt it doesnt

I would like to try this. How many ended up hatching?

It sounds like a lot fun and I hope you get a good hatch but a word of caution. Even if your eggs are still alive and active right now, you are not out of the woods yet. Extremes in temperates early on can come back to haunt you at hatch time.
