My 100 foot Peafowl Barn was DESTROYED tonight! 😪

Right now the wind is screaming and stuff keeps bashing the house. It's really giving me a panic attack. I know our chimney broke off and slammed to the ground. I just don't know what to expect in the morning when we can see.
I'm really sorry about your roof! It sounds like ours is going to rip off the house any minute.

Ugh I'm so sorry that is awful Can you smell the smoke from the Kansas wildfires where you're at? I started smelling smoke about 2 hours ago when I opened my window and our friend who lives 30 minutes away texted saying he was smelling smoke too. Our other friends in Omaha texted earlier saying they didn't have power there with all of the downed lines.

YES! We thought the house was on fire! My sons and I ran around inside, and my oldest and I checked outside (real fast) to see if our house was on fire.

Same! My husband ran outside to make sure lightning didn't hit the barn while I walked around the house checking every possible heat source to make sure it was off.

Oh no! This hit us in Arkansas last week. Not the same storm, but something very similar. The worst it did was blow my tote around the yard so I had to search for it in the morning. I hope everybody stays safe up there! Here is a pretty chickens to look at.

My husband asked before and they said no.
We spend $400 a month on insurance because we have a dairy farm and chemical cleaners, and then they don't want to cover anything... we'll figure something out, God be willing.
