After the Sunset article, DH asked me about the "chicken zeitgeist" because he wondered what spurred me to start thinking about it. I showed him my first post here from April last year, before we bought the house with the backyard and were still living in a townhouse with no backyard.

The other day, I was telling my husband that 'my chicken people" had told me what to do about our new chicks poopy butts....husband..."YOU HAVE CHICKEN PEOPLE????" Well, of course!
