Good luck but you should really put something else as bedding material because news paper can damage their feet. Pick something like straw, wood shavings, or cloth.

Be sure you have good ventilation when using shaving with chicks. Keep up the good work!

Wood shavings are good and cover up smell but they stick to the little ones feet if they have stepped in droppings
