Oh great!! It’s really not hard at all....are you making your own goat stand? If not, you can tie them to a tree to do it...a stand just make giving meds and such easier too. There are a ton of videos on YouTube for trimming hooves that will show you how. Get cheap tooth brushes, baking soda/flour, nail brush...and the trimmers. The baking soda and flour is for cuts...it will happen at some point. Making a goat stand is cheap and easy too...you can even make one out of pallets...saw that on YouTube. But, you can use a tree for trimmings. Most hooves need done 4-6 weeks, depending upon how rocky your area is...we don’t have rocks.

Oh, it’s a tablet? You can typically give goats a tablet it a treat...find something they like first before wasting the pill.....an easy one is big marshmallows!! But typically banana works great too.. jut use a tester first so you don’t waste the pill.

I give my goats medicine inside of FigNewtons. They love the taste and it’s healthy too!

Sorry, just saw it was a liquid...but that pill info is good for when you bolus them. I would put it in a syringe. The syringe doe not have a needle... They are also sold at TS. You could have the ferrier show you how while he’s out? Antsy reason you chose such a potent dewormer? When I had to give give oral meds, my goats were in my goat stand...

Oh....ok....when I looked it up, it just read a bit odd to me, but I hadn’t read about it before. How did you give it to the other animals that you bought it for?

I gave Valbazen to my chickens last spring. I it is such a small amount for chickens I just ended up putting it on a small piece of bread and gave it to each one. Was very easy to do.
I was wondering if I soaked a piece of bread if the goats would take it or if they would just turns their heads at it. I guess I could always try it and see if they take it or not.
