My 2 "white silkie" chicks! Updated with 6 wks PICS pg 5!

Well here's the story. I ordered some white silkie hatching eggs from ebay. All were doing so well until I moved them to the hatching incubator. I don't know what happened but only 2 hatched.

Well they weren't that expensive, but I only needed 2 white silkie chicks (girl's birthday presents, long story). So now I have one white silkie (it is the cutest chick I have ever seen), and fudgie.

I emailed the person, but of course haven't heard back. I need to get on it a bit more now. To top it off ol' Fudgie is obviously a "roo". Even the DD could tell he was a roo!

Wow, that is a cute little obviously not white silkie. Do you think you'll name it cotton ball or marshmallow? Wait, no, you said fudgie, I can see why.

Yeah the DD's named it fudgie. She said to me, "are they always born brown?" (this was before the white white silkie hatched).

How can you tell it is a boy? I certainly don't see any obvious signs.

Let's hope it's some real breed and that an incorrect egg merely got mixed in. Did you open the ones that didn't hatch to see what they were?
