My 2nd Duck Hatch!

I’m thinking I should probably sell one of my keeper ducklings and keep #25 the smallest duckling instead 25 is the one who hatched last and needed a bit longer to perk up, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with him. He’s lively and growing- just small. But I’m worried that if I sell him he might not make it.

I’m meeting her with the ducklings this evening. I’m pretty sure I’ll keep #25 and let her have one of my keepers. I’m trying to tell myself it’s not a big deal because I can always hatch more later

I’d been hoping little 25 (who will need a proper name) was going to catch up by now and it wouldn’t be an issue. But no such luck

Would you guys be concerned about a duckling this size? In the top 2 pics it’s the one drinking at the top. In the lower pictures, it’s the one close to the top left

As long as it seems to be doing fine, I don’t think it would be a concern for me. 2 of my ducks ended up being fairly small compared to the others and they did/are doing just fine! And if a concern is it being picked on for being smaller, I haven’t had that issue either!

Editing to add that the 2 smaller ones have the most personality too

Yes that’s 25. I’m so torn Yeah, he/she seems to be doing great and eating well. I remembered that I actually had 2 small ones in the last batch who eventually caught up and are doing great.
