Iāve had no problems with it, wet or dry. I do take it away from the snow angels when they have young chicks, but after theyāre 2 weeks old I give it back and theyāre fine, honestly the biggest danger that it causes is Baldi constantly getting in and out of the box and landing on the chicks because sheās so graceful. Once theyāre evasion stats get high enough, I return their sand haha.
I will add, I donāt have any quail Iām particularly emotionally attached to, so if it causes an issue, I wouldnāt be devastated. but itās never been an issue so far and I used it for their run floor all summer and then I put down chips when it got cold. I plan to shovel it all out and put down new sand in the spring.
and one in particular runs over and tries to repeatedly do it in the water dish , whats that about? lol
So far 3 whites (if no spots of random colors pop out) and a either nirmal wild blue or normal wild red,have to wait and see if it gets red on chest, basicly wait a week or two moreDoes anyone know what colours they are ?
And what age can yous tell what sex they are ? 2are white and yellow and one is white and yellow but like red its head and neck, and 1 is brown speckled
