My 4 year old hen thinks its a rooster

So my 4 year old hen is now crowing like a rooster it has jist finished sitting for som weeks being broody but is now laying again i think but a few times a day it now crows How can I stop this any ideas please its only ever been wth hens and is cuurently living with 2 ojthers

I don't think you can stop a hen from crowing. And she doesn't think she's a rooster, hens crow and mate eachother to show dominance and sometimes they do it if there is no rooster. Do you have any roosters?

No roosters Its just we live in the city and we arent allowed roosters

My daughter's Mother-in-law had that problem.

Her crowing hen was her best layer and since she was definitely a hen the rules didn't apply to her.
