My 5 week old duckling BROKE ITS WING!!!

So heres how it happen... I let the ducklings out to play and my BO rooster started MATING, {YeS MaTiNg}, the poor little duckling. After that the roo got ahold of the ducklings wing and... I looked at it and... it is broke. Its wing just flops around... What do I do???

You should try to splint it if possible, in the normal position that the wing lays. Here's a website that might help:

At 5 months the duck is full grown.

You should gently put in in proper position and splint it in place, using vet wrap to hold the wing in place on the splint and then wrap to the body. Make sure the vet wrap is not too tight so as to restrict breathing.

Keep the roo away from the ducks while the injured one heals. Better yet, confine the injured one alone.
