my 6 2 1/2 week olds are chowing on pine shavings!

My last chicks didn't do this so much, a little but not bad, these girls are just chowing down! should I take out the shavings and put in paper towels?

Are you sure they are eating them? Mine peck at them all the time, scratch at them, peck the bottom, run around with one playing keep away, and all kinds of things. (From the chick book, "Fun with Shavings!") But they still are eating their crumbles.

I thought at first that my chicks were eating the shavings but when I watched closely I saw that they were doing the same as insiderart's chicks. Yesterday was the day they first started playing keep away. So funny to watch!
