My 6 week olds. . . (PICS added further down)

They are just so darn charming. I love my birds! I weighed them last night (I'm a dork, I know) and they are 11, 12 and 13 oz. They are getting fat! We are letting them be in the run during the daytime now and they are eating so much grass, bugs, etc. They are BUSY! But, when we bring them in at nighttime, they take a quick dustbath and then cuddle together and crash. I am just the happiest chicken mamma EVER. Just smitten with my chickens!! We think they'll be ready to be in the coop full time by this weekend and we'll have the finishing touches on the coop by then, too (latches).

Aren't they fun? Darn, DH has more customers for my eggs...........I'll have to get more chickens. What ever will I do?

This is the box they are coming inside to sleep in at night. I know it is small, but all they do is come in, take a dustbath and go to sleep. I swear! Don't they look like they are patiently waiting??

Here's the coop. I posted it in the coop section, too.

And, these shots were taken last night of my girls.
And we wonder why there is poop in the water. . .Nice job, Pearl! She's my favorite girl, BTW.

Aren't they cute little fat girls for 6 week olds? What do I know? I am such a newbie.
