My hubby had mono as a young adult and it knocked him for a loop!

I will tell you to make sure she rests alot and NOT TO JUMP AROUND! Its going to be hard I know, but its very important in her recovery of it.

It seems most people with mono have it hard, but I guess I was one of the lucky ones. I had it in the summer when I was 13. I was sick for a few days and then was right back to riding horses and swimming everyday. It wasn't any worse for me than a mild case of the flu. Hopefully your little girl will be one of the lucky ones too if she has it.

Ughhhh, no call today fron the doctors. I called them about an hour ago and they said the tests have not came in yet. I guess I will be waiting another flipping day to find out anything. She is still laying around not really doing much of anything. I went to the store and got some things to make slushies so that she doesnt have to keep sipping just water. I was able to get her to eat some chicken noodle soup a little bit ago. It seemed like as soon as her belly was full she was out, sleeping like a log. I called her school today and told them that it will most likely be tommorrow before I hear anything back from the doctors, they were very nice about it and said that they would get with her teacher and see what she needs to do, if anything right now. Thanks for your support everyone. Its really a great stress reliever to come on here and read everyones posts and most of the time I end up laughing out loud at some of the things I read lol. Now I am just waiting for tommorrow!!
