All the different names are marketing ploys by hatcheries. Instead of just Red Sex-Link, you get romantic stuff like Cinnamon Queen, or Golden Comet.
I just call mine "Silly chickens' when they do something dumb, "stinky chickens" when I'm cleaning the coop, "wonderful chickens" when they lay an egg, etc...
