My 7 week old Silkie Crowed!

As I turned the light on in the brooder this morning, my little blue silkie let out his first crow! Then a second and a third and a fourth and so on
It was just too cute. The first one was really impressive! The rest came out as little squawks but I got video of a couple of those.
It gave me a bit of satisfaction that I guessed he was a roo at 1 week lol
I was going to move them out to the coop this week but the weather took a bit of a turn so I'm waiting until Tuesday when it's supposed to clear up.

Ok I was ready with my camera this morning and I was able to catch some good ones... but from the satin splash! I was guessing this one was a cockerel as well. Let's just hope I was able to guess the pullets right too

Neither did I. Mine are around this age. Haven't noticed any crowing. Maybe all pullets!

Not common though to crow this young. So just because your seven week old Silkies have not crowed, does not mean they are pullets!
