So last update for the evening, Madame Curie is eating (crumbles- but I will take it), drinking, roosting, hanging, singing again. I will continue to keep her on the calcium for the next few days. Thanks to all of you for your advice and care, I hope she keeps progressing!Morning update:
Madame Curie stayed on the roost all night. This morning she went over to the water and drank. She still won't eat her layer pellets but is showing more energy and activity. I had a plan! I grabbed my bag of Manna Pro Harvest Delight. Put some in my hand and she went to town. The other girls got some too so they were happy. I then grabbed some chick crumbles and fed her those. She gobbled those up. Lastly I scattered a scratch crumble combo and put on the floor of the coop, she and the others were happily eating. She stopped for water breaks in between. I will do the calcium again this morning but really wanted to get some food in her crop. Fingers crossedall!
