My aggressive chicken

A way to a chicken's heart is typically through its stomach.

If you can, take some time at least a few times a week to just go out and spend time with them. Just sit/stand nearby and watch/talk to them. You can offer treats, but don't try to handle them or chase them (it'll only spook them and reinforce the idea that they need to be wary of you). That way they can see you and know you're there, but will come to realize that you're not out to get them either. My DH and I do this several times a week with ours...usually I'll have my camera and be getting some pics, too. Chickens can be epically entertaining to sit and observe.

Sounds like she is a naturally curious chicken to me. She probably jumped up to peck your face as she seen something interesting, probably a freckle or speck of dirt. Chickens also LOVE feet. Just don't wear sandals out to the coop, it is always a mistake lol! I like to wear flipflops and I know every time I wear them to the coop I'm taking a risk. I have several hens who like to try and eat my toenail polish.

Bring some treats in your pockets and scatter them on the ground while you want to visit the hens. This will distract them from investigating you and how you taste lol.

I have a few hens that love to peck at my feet, shoes, laces, buttons on the bottom of my pants. When i recently polished them with red polish..

they loved them. Would literally chase me around the yard to try to get them.

I also agree with Dolly85, she could be very curious. My same few hens are into almost everything. They will jump and grab anything I am holding to see if it might be a treat. This has caused many an accident on the garden but I know they are just curious and not doing it on purpose.

Hey guys!!!!! Peep is doing MUCH MUCH better! I can pick her up now, and she eats out of my hand and she just seems way more comfortable around me!
I am sooo sooo happy

She likes to walk up to me now and get on my lap to tell me she's hungry! LOL! I will give you all credit for the amazing
strategies that you guys gave me! THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP

I didn't have a problem with nail polish until I tried Green. They love me, but if they see the green polish they bite hard and tear the skin. No more green polish :(
