I'd like to see the hen house all those eggs came out of!
My ancestors had chickens too!!! Pic found in attic!

Awesome! What a family treasure.
On the farm where I grew up the previous owners raised chickens and sold eggs. There was a large building with probably 100 nest boxes in there. My dad converted it into a shop. They must have had hundres of laying hens. I love those old wire baskets they gathered eggs in.
Congrats on your find. Maybe you should blow that picture up and put it on the wall in your hen house as incentive for your hens!
