Well getting the Khakis fell through... but I did get 2 muscovies. ( it's all she could catch lol) So Moby Duck isn't so lonely anymore. This isn't a very good picture since it's only on my cell phone. Moby, the Appleyard/Khaki cross from Duck Keeper is in the back of the line and it's not a very good shot of it since you cant see his cute face. That one seems to be the boss. The muscovies follow it around the brooder and seem to defer to him. I really think he loves it!! There is one strange thing Moby does. Instead of tucking his head back like the other ducks to sleep... he just lays over on his side, stretches out, maybe uses another duck as a pillow, and snoozes. It's so cute.
The lady I got thw Muscovies from says she is a member here and I forgot to ask her forum name. She had a GREAT set up, even an EMU that met me on the path up to the duck area.
Oh and Stanley the big white friendly goose....I loved loving on him! Chickens and peacocks and ducks and horses and ponies..... I was so JEALOUS!!!
Anyway....My new babies....
I'll get more pics ASAP with my cell phone or when I buy a new digital camera. I dropped mine in the duck pool last Monday.
