My Austrailan Shepard getting eggs.

    He is 6 months old and is showing to be a great pet and yard dog. When i let the chickens out of the coop to rome the yard, they play with the dog. They get along great, but, the young dog is going in the coop and geting eggs out of the laying boxes. I saw it happen! I need a humane idea to solve this problem.

    You need to monitor your dog. When you see him heading towards the egg area follow him in and get a hold of his colar and tell him NO and re-direct him to a different thing. Do not give him the chance to get to the eggs.

    My Aussie, Zak used to go to great lengths to steal my hand painted pysanki eggs! He ate quite a few! He died a little over a year ago at almost 17! I miss him! Good luck with your pup!
