My babies are dying!

Oh...I'm sorry for your poor kids - and you...and the peeps! I know you're doing everything you can. What a bummer.

I'd definitely separate the BOs from the others. Even putting in a cardboard partition and changing the litter on their side would be something.

Please, tell your 5 y/o that while this sometimes happens, not all baby chicks die! (obviously, or we'd have no more chickens . . . dreadful thought)
 
When my isa-Browns arrived they appered in good shape,did everything by the book but still lost 8..It was suggested that the dust in my pine bark could be the culprit.I removed the pine and replaced it with newspaper which I change daily..No more dead chicks.
 
So sorry for your loss. I would separate the remaining chicks from the rest. Good luck.

Thanks everyone! I am still waiting to hear back from the feed store to see what they found out about the remaining chicks so i will keep you posted.
