Well my babies were shipped out on Saturday, got a call from post office and all of them were dead. I called McMurray, and they will ship out whenever I want them to. We have cold weather right now.

I don't understand why the USPS couldn't have put them in the front they knew they had live animals on board. I am upset at them, I mean come on babies need warmth. :thun

What they did to them was cruel. They deserved to have a life. Maybe shipping in anything other than ideal weather is just too risky for live beings, given the seemingly endless stupidity and callousness of humans. I hope you make a big stink at the highest levels.

My order from Mcmurray last year was an extra day longer in getting here and I had 3 DOA and lost 2 more the next day.The rest recovered and are all doing fine and laying like crazy for me.The problem was not Mcmurrays, it was the post office cause they were shipped from Minnesota to Charlotte NC and arrived sometime saturday night.Charlotte is 3 hours from me and it took the post office til tuesday morning to get to Conway. If they had been here a day earlier I probably wouldn't have lost any chicks.

I spoke with McMurray this morning. They said they've been hit with sub zero weather and had a horrible shipment last time. They told me I might want to watch their weather and if it's really bad, change my delievery date.
