My BABIES are here!!!!(updated pics-5 wks old)

Here they are at their first outing in the yard....almost 2 weeks old. We put them in their run and house with a heat lamp last night. Our dog Maggie thinks she is their mother and "herds" them all over the yard and then lays down in the grass and looks after them.

Oh, and my husband is in love! He now says he wants MORE DUCKS!

What have I done?????

Hatched 2 calls at noontime. They're drying off and resting now.

They are so cute. I have seven runners, 3 black, and 4 fawn and white. They have most of their feathers... it happens so fast. They have such personalities.

Did I mention that we got the baby pool done today........

I'm having waaaaaaay too much fun with these ducks!!! My husband just sat and stared at them for and hour this morning! Then he says, "we need to get more ducks. "
