AHAHAHAHA Awesome!

Be prepared to dump that pool out every other day once they're old enough to reach the sand and the water at the same time. They'll sift through it in the water, and deposit it in your pool til there's like three inches deep of sludge and sand.

At least your husband is all for ducks now! Research all of the different breeds before jumping on more though, you don't want to end up with TOO many...

I'm way ahead of you.....we drilled a hole in the bottom and attached a pipe that runs into the woods to a drainage ditch so that all i have to do is unplug it and rinse it out every day. The area around it is rock dust that we had leftover from when we did the dog pen. It seems to working pretty good so far. I insisted on some sort of a drain so I wouldn't have to lift the darn thing every day.

But if I don't move it around enough they kill off the lawn anyway, so it's okay. I only have two of the smaller pools anyway; lots easier to dump and refill than the standard sized ones.

OMG I do not even have or want ducks and these adorable photos melted my heart. The first duckling with the sweet little yellow face looking up got me.... OMG so sweet and cute!

They are so funny.....they run up to the gate to greet us every day, or whenever I open the back door

and definitely let us know when they want something to eat! They will not get out of the pool! I had to chase them out of it at 11 o'clock last night to get them locked up (my hubby was the last one out with them and I found out later that he didn't have the heart to make them get out of the pool!!!

).
