Ahhh I'm so excited to get mine now!! The eggs are due to hatch next friday!

Just thought I would keep it going and here are new pics of the babies....4, almost 5 weeks old now. They are really feathering in well and are really shiny and getting very vocal!

Here's a pic from this morning, they are 5 weeks old today. They are fighting with my 5 older hens over some cheerios and leftover mixed veggies.

I had to bribe them with treats to get them out of their run and into the back yard! When they got done eating they ran back in to get in the pool...I hope to free range them a bit when I can supervise them, if they will ever leave the run, silly birds!

OMG! They are so cute! I love Chocolate Runners. I know you ordered them through McMurray's, but out of curiosity- what state did they ship from?

I want to see them in their pool.... their bodies are shaped different then your regular duck... I'm just curious to see what they look like in a pool.


...and by the way... skipping pages looking for the royal cuteness. So neat.

ok...so runners are good for? eggs? meat? just wondering.

Great for eggs. Meat? Not so much. They are pretty skinny.
