Towards the end of April I ordered a bunch of Cochins from McMurray. They were such cute, perfect little puff balls
They've been, hands down, the friendliest chicks I've ever raised. Well, at almost 15 weeks old, they're not really babies anymore. I'm thinking I have all pullets, which would make most on this forum go
but I really wanted a rooster (what are the odds that out of 4 straight run chicks I wouldn't get a single boy?). So, here are some pictures I took of them yesterday. They're getting so big and FLUFFY!
At first, I thought this one was a boy. Now I'm thinking its just a fast developing pullet
Same with this one, these 2 were the most developed from the beginning. Then their comb developement just petered out. The first bird did try to mount my hand when it was around 5 weeks old though. It grabbed the hair band on my wrist and went to town
I love these 2 girls, they're so sweet and they're HUGE!
