BTW... still waiting for your baby pics!!!!
How fun!! When I got my first set of chicks I only had a brooder for them that we kept in my husband's shop. We put it on my husband's two wheeler so I could roll it outside each day for them to get fresh air. After 3 days I couldn't take it any longer and let them out to "play" for about a half an hour. They didn't go far and were easy to catch. Day by day they would go farther and farther, and I would let them stay out longer and longer. Soon it took both of us to herd them into a corner so I could put them back in their brooder. haha Finally last week I made my husband put a door in the side of the brooder and build a little ramp. The first day I had to take them out and put them back in, but after that they did it all on their own, and I'm still so proud. haha! I can't wait to see my little babies, Polish Crested, out there running around.
