I think I may have located a mate for BC . He is much younger I don't think any cygnets this coming spring but the price is right , it is in driving distance so he will not have to be shipped and it usually takes season for them to establish a breeding territory. Hopefully my 20 some year old pair will be successful . she is bigger than both her parents now , I

do mean huge .

Well . I have an update on my situation . The swan I was going to buy is a yearling but a fellow called last night and has a 4 year old cob ( the same age as BC ) that he is selling . I will buy the one that is the same age providing the price is right and he can catch him .
