I think I may have located a mate for BC . He is much younger I don't think any cygnets this coming spring but the price is right , it is in driving distance so he will not have to be shipped and it usually takes season for them to establish a breeding territory. Hopefully my 20 some year old pair will be successful . she is bigger than both her parents now , I

There was a pair of mute swans at my Mom's retirement village. The female died, leaving the male all alone. That was sad seeing him swimming around alone. Eventually they sent him back to the breeder....and they put up a new building where the swan pond was.
