I doubt it is contagious.
Don't worry... I lost a feather footed chick I hatched last weekend...

and I lost 4 of my 6 yokohamas that came from Ideal.
They are sure hard to keep alive them yokohomas. I don't think I'll ever get another yokohamas unless it's an adult! They are so little.
