I wouldn't worry about it being broken if she is at least kinda putting it down, plus breaks don't usually swell to much. If it doesn't get better soon than you can try wrapping it with some arnica, and I can tell you more about that method if we come to it. But for now, I would just watch her to see if she makes progress!
