my baby chicken isnt moving but is breathing slowly

1. my baby chick about 1wk old isnt moving but is breathing slowly what do i do , as it is also getting pick on by the other baby chicks ?? please help

set-up another brooder and place the chick in it, or divide the one you have - preferably where the chick can see the others (use screen wire or hardware cloth). Or put a chick in there with it, if you can.

Seperate it like N8ivetxn said making sure it will can stay warm. Make sure they aren't too warm. Not over 95 degrees and a cooler place they can retreat to.Give it some savachick, pediolyte or molasses and water by dropper if necessary. There are some other products you can get at a feed store or Tractor Supply. Some swear by plain yogurt but a day old won't need to eat for at least 48 hours after hatching. I hope your little one bounces back but the first week is the toughest on them.

Good advice, I wasn't thinking clearly

- I think the chick is a week old?

Call up the feed store and see if they have the sav-a-chick, poly-visol or some electrolyte for chicks, also, if you don't have an eye dropper, get a couple syringes (without needles), so you can give it a drink....

Is it eating today? Has it pooped? If it did, did the poo look normal?
