My baby died this morning =(

Oh no!! I really feel for you. My best friend drowned in a stock tank. I've never had another chicken that I like better. Makes me want to cry!

I am so sorry for your loss Lily. We lost one of our chicks when she was only 10 weeks old. She was our favorite as well and we always think of her. I remember the how painful it was when I discovered our loss. She had been taken by a predator. I'm thankful that there was no blood to be seen. I do want to let you know that the pain will ease in time. I kept crying all day when our Lily died. But now it's much easier. When I think of her, I think of many special memories that she gave us and she'll never be forgotten. You will do that too....in time. After you've had time to grieve.
