my baby died.

So sorry for your loss. Losing a chicken is always hard :(

I have bad experiences with dogs and chickens. So much so that I will probably never have my own dog. Once someone asked me to take care of one of their chicks that was blind for whatever reason, and when I went to pick them up they didn't warn me about their dogs. The dog ate the baby right out of my hands. Not fun.

I am very sorry to hear this. Lila was beautiful. Make sure to let your puppy know that killing chickens is not ok. It's best for them to learn when they are a puppy. Some dogs can learn not to kill as adults, and it is beyond some others.

Thank you all

. That's terrible!! I can't believe he ate it out of your hands!! We are hopefully getting her trained next week, but its hard, since she's part hunting dog.

Thanks. The dog trainers have dogs and chickens, so I'm hoping so bad that she will be cured.

She is a good puppy, but she is kinda young and doesn't really understand, alttough sometimes she deliberitly doesn't listen!

Right, I get it. My Rhodesian ridgeback mix turned killer on me. In February, she killed 18 of my 36. Let us know how the training goes, hope your puppy does well.
